The Afton Fair - July 8 - 12, 2009

There will be Harness Racing Special Children's Activities during our Harness Racing Event on Thursday, July 9.

Afton Motor Speedway has announced their practice session will be on July 3 and opening night on July 10 during the Afton Fair. Visit the Afton Motor Speedway Website for complete details.

The 2009 Afton Fair is just around the corner with plenty of family fun and something for everyone to enjoy. As with any event -- the schedule is always subject to last minute changes. The website will be updated with changes as we become aware of them, and will be updated daily during fair week.

If you are interested in becoming a vendor, we are still accepting applications.

Bill and Rhonda Barriger will be managing the 2009 Demolition Derby which will take place on Sunday, July 12 at 3:00 PM. Entries are still being accepted and the rules have been posted.

On the 88BC/Afton Sertoma Stage we will be welcoming back Skyline featuring Cassidy Lynn on Saturday night, Familiar Noise on Friday night and Route 66 Band on Thursday night. Panhandle will perform for the first time at the Afton Fair on Wednesday night and Deuces Wild will perform Saturday afternoon. Other performances include The Blue Ribbon Cloggers, Line Dancing with Mindy, The Southerntiersmen Barbershop Chorus and Quartets, the Old Time Band and more.

The rules for the Demolition Derby have been updated and posted on the website. There will be a follow up drivers meeting on May 31st at 2:00 PM at the Afton Fairgrounds.
