Below is a list of and some information about the Board Members of the Afton Driving Park and Agricultural Association, Inc. which organizes and operates the Afton Fair. Rhonda has been an Afton Fair board member for well over a decade. She first became a board member in 1989 as vendor chairperson and organizer of the Demolition Derby. After a 3 year break, she returned to the board as vendor chairperson as well as entertainment and grounds maintenance. She was instrumental in Gillette Shows return to the fair after a break of a few years. She attends the NYSAAF Convention every year to find new and exciting ideas for the fair.
Rhonda attended Harpursville Jr Sr High School and CR Weeks in Windsor for the elementary years. Her father had harness racing horses at the fairgrounds starting in 1969, which resulted in her love of, and involvement with the Afton Fair. She currently works for Delaware Opportunities and previously worked at Opportunities for Otsego for 9 years as an Energy Services Coordinator.
Darryl works at New England Pellet in Deposit and is the Superintendent of the Small Animal department at the fair.
Alumni of Afton Central School and SUNY Morrisville. An employee of Raymond Corporation, John and his wife Barb, have been instrumental in the operation of the Afton Driving Park for over a decade. John filled the Secretary slot from 2008 through 2013, President from 2013 through 2015, President and Treasurer in 2015 through 2016 and for the 2016 through 2018 business year is Treasurer.
Vicky is an Agriculture Technology teacher at Afton Central School. She helps coordinate school activities with the fair.
Paul and his family live on a farm on the outskirts of Afton. They have a dairy herd, horses, chickens and geese. Paul coaches wrestling and he and Karen are active in children's sport activities. Paul is the Chairman of a Youth Dairy Show for the Fair.

Peg is a graduate of Afton Central School and Syracuse University with a Master’s Degree in Social Work and Gerontology. She returned to her family farm in Afton where she became the leader of a Horse 4-H Club – East River Riders for over 20 years. She retired from the Broome County Office for Aging after 42 years of service. Peg has been the chair of the Afton Fair Horse Show since 2004 and was instrumental in the creation of the Afton Driving Park Fun Horse Shows program. She has been active in creating an ongoing sponsor program for the fair.
Steven Willis graduated from Afton Central School and Delhi Tech with a degree in Residential Building Construction. He is a veteran of the US Army and member of the Coventry Volunteer Fire Department for over 25 years. Steve is retired from Raymond with 42 years of service. Steve has volunteered at the Afton Fair for over 20 years providing support for the electrical infrastructure and grounds work.
Jennifer Smith graduated from Afton Central School and Lock Haven State University in Pennsylvania with a degree in Health & Physical Education. She has been a PE elementary teacher at Afton since 1999. Jen is a member of the First Baptist Church of Afton where she is on the Mission Board. Jen is the Chair of the Youth Activity Area.
Kyle is from Unadilla and coordinates Security, Parking and EMS services for the Afton Driving Park.
Eric is from Nineveh and helps with the Tractor pull.
Rich Cuthbertson moved from New Jersey to Afton in 1980. He retired after 43 years of service from Bendix/Amphenol where he held numerous positions. He is the Quarter Master/Treasurer of the Afton VFW Post 3529 and is a long-time member of Sertoma where he was twice President and Treasurer. Rich was a founding member of the Afton Community Theater and served on the boards of many local theater groups. He is a former Girl Scout Leader and served on the Indian Hills Council Board of Directors. Rich joined the Fair Board representing Sertoma in 2017.
