Familiar Noise at the Afton Fair

Familiar Noise will perform Friday, July 10th, 2009 at 7:30 PM at the Afton Fair!

Familiar Noise will take the stage at 7:30 PM on Friday, July 10th, 2009 to perform music from their CD of original music, "Simpler Times", released in May 2008, as well as music from older releases and some of their new music which will be on their "All the Silent Faces" CD.

Familiar Noise is a melting pot of sounds ranging from rock, blues, a touch of reggae, and little bit of funk. They are known for their ability to improvise and jam. Fans have said they play a little something for everyone. They are influenced by a wide range of musicians including: Dave Matthews Band, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, G Love and the Special Sauce, Jason Mraz, Bob Marley, Nirvana, The Beatles, REM, Peter Gabriel, Genesis... And so much more!

Familiar Noise consists of Shawn Foster on acoustic guitar and vocals, Bodie on lead guitar, keys, and backup vocals, Brian Foster on bass, Brian Wells on drums and Ryan Berkeley on Sax.

The members of Familiar Noise reside in Bainbridge, Sidney and Afton, New York.

The fair will be held from July 8th through July 12th, 2009. Stop by the entertainment tent to see Familiar Noise on the 10th!
