Entries not in place by 10 A.M. Wednesday, July 9, 2008 will be disqualified.
No Exhibitor Ticket required as entries will be made by grade delegate.

Section 1 - Canning
All entries are to be in pint cars - tape exhibitor tag to jar.
Premium Ribbons
Classes:

  1. Any vegetable (except tomatoes), 3 jars of different kinds.
  2. Any fruits, (except tomatoes), 3 jars of different kinds
  3. Fruit juice, (except tomato) 1 jar each, 2 kinds varying in color.
  4. Canned tomatoes, 2 jars, l cut whole tomatoes, 1 juice (whole tomatoes must be in their own juice, not water)
  5. Marmalade - jams - preserves - butters, 1 jar each, two kinds in uniform.

Section 2 - Foods
General Rules:

  1. All baked goods must be removed from baking dish.
  2. All pies may be baked in aluminum foil pie pans. A slice will be removed during judging, the remainder may be picked up between 3 and 5pm Wed.
  3. Entries baked in paper cups will be disqualified.

Premium Ribbons
Classes:

  1. Whole grain muffins, (5) muffins
  2. White muffins, (5) muffins
  3. Quick bread, (1) loaf
  4. Drop cookies, (5) cookies
  5. Baking powder biscuits, (5) biscuits
  6. White yeast bread, (1) loaf
  7. Plain white cake, uncrossed, single layer
  8. Angel food cake, $4 cake, uncrossed
  9. Sponge cake, ½ cake, unfrocked
  10. Decorated cake, may use cake mix or a decorated cardboard box or Styrofoam form
  11. Cupcakes, (6) cupcakes
  12. Bar cookies, (5) cookies
  13. Rolled cookies, (5) cookies
  14. Special occasion cookies, (5) cookies
  15. Refrigerator cookies, (5) cookies
  16. Others not mentioned

Section 3 - Sewing
General Rules:

  1. A11 articles must be properly labeled with exhibitor's tags. If article is remodeled or made of old material a brief history must accompany the exhibit.
  2. Three (3) exhibits per class allowed per exhibitor.

Classes:

  1. Sewing box equipped in first &qout;lets sew" project
  2. Apron
  3. Fabric pot holders, (2) stitched
  4. Elastic band slacks or shorts
  5. Nightgowns, pajamas or housecoat or bathrobe
  6. Skirt
  7. Blouse
  8. Vest or jumper
  9. Shorts or slacks (with zipper)
  10. Coordinated, 2 piece outfit
  11. Dress
  12. Lined suit jacket or coat
  13. Others not listed
