Gillette Shows returns to The Afton Fair!

The 2010 Afton Fair is scheduled for July 21 - 25, 2010.

Representatives of the Afton Fair Board returned from the 122nd annual convention of the New York State Association of Agricultural Fairs with exciting news. Betty Gillette and her sons Jerry and Jules will return to the 121st Afton Fair as the midway provider. In order to fit into Gillette Shows schedule, it was necessary to change the fair dates to Wednesday, July 21 - Sunday, July 25.

Entertainment Inquires for 2010 Afton Fair

We are accepting entertainment inquiries for the 121st Afton Fair. Please visit the Afton Fair Entertainment page and submit the form. Please note that we are currently reviewing the dates the fair will be held, so the dates may change on the form in the near future.

Old Farming Techniques

We are looking for individuals or organizations who would be interested in displaying tools and equipment used in farming in the past, as well as to provide actual demonstrations of the techniques. Examples of possible displays and demonstrations include blacksmithing, milling, logging, haying, planting and others. Please contact us at the Afton Fair Office at 607-639-1525 with your ideas.
