"The Entertainment Tent" has been renamed the "88 BC/Afton Sertoma Stage" in appreciation for the materials support and funding received from each of them that made building the stage in 2007 possible.

Thursday Overview, Admission and Ride Deals

Senior Citizens & Children's Day
Admission until 2:00 PM:
Senior Citizen's (55+) and Children (under 18) FREE,
Age 18 and above - $6.00.

Admission from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM:
Age 18 and above - $6.00,
age 13 - 17 - $3.00,
Age 12 and under Free.

Admission starting at 4:00 PM:
Age 18 and above - $10.00,
age 13 - 17 - $5.00,
Age 12 and under Free.
Open Air Concert begins at 8:00 PM -- no additional charges.

Pay one Price for rides from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM -- $12.00.

Thursday, July 10th, 2008 is Senior Citizens and Children's Day. We will have harness racing starting at 1:00 PM. The Blue Ribbon Cloggers, Gene Henry and The Stoutmen will perform at the 88 BC/Afton Sertoma Stage throughout the afternoon.

Our headlining act -- Ashton Shepard will perform at about 9:00 PM. Skyline feauring Cassidy Lynn will open at 8:00 PM.

From 11:00 AM until Noon there will be free needs for those with Special Needs and the handicapped.

Tonight will be our Open Air Concert! Be sure to bring a chair or blanket if you want to sit during the show. Limited bleachers will be available. Skyline featuring Cassidy Lynn will open at 8:00 PM, followed by our Headlining Act Ashton Shepherd at 9:00 PM.

The concert is free with Gate Admission of $10.00 for ages 18 and above, $5.00 for ages 13 - 17, and free for 12 and under, starting at 4:00 PM.

Agricultural Events

The Youth Dairy Show will continue at 9:00 am today. Be sure to stop by and see the show!

88 BC/Afton Sertoma Stage Events

There will be a Prayer Service at the 88 BC/Afton Sertoma Stage at 10:00 AM.

The Blue Ribbon Cloggers will perform at the 88 BC/Afton Sertoma Stage from 11:00 AM until noon.

Gene Henry will perform at 1:00 PM.

The Stoutsmen will perform from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.

There will be a "Bikes for Kids Drawing" for children age 5 to 10 at 5:00 PM. Children can enter the contest by filling out a ticket at the Afton Sertoma Club. Child must be present to win.

Fred Avila of Bear Ridge Chainsaw Carvings will be available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to demonstrate the art of Chainsaw Carvings. Carvings will be on display and will be sold at an auction during the fair. Be sure to stop by and watch him work!

Other Events

NYS Sires Stakes Harness Racing will begin at 1:00 PM and should last until about 5:00 PM at the horse track. There will be races for both Pacers and Trotters. Entry into Grandstands is free.
