"The Entertainment Tent" has been renamed the "88 BC/Afton Sertoma Stage" in appreciation for the materials support and funding received from each of them that made building the stage in 2007 possible.

Firemen's Day (all in uniform free)
Admission:
Age 18 and above - $6.00,
age 13 - 17 - $3.00,
Age 12 and under Free.

Pay one Price for rides from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM -- $12.00.

Wednesday July 9th, 2008 is Firemen's Day at the Afton Fair. Today the Afton Fair Dairy Show will start, we will have the Firemen's Parade and Games, the Miss Afton Fair Pageant will be held, Fireworks will start at 10:00 PM, and there will be a performance by JB & Company!

Main Event - At the Grandstands

2007 Firemen's Parade

Oxford Fire DepartmentThe Firemen's Parade and Games will begin at 7:00 PM. Line up will start at 6:00 PM. Local School bands, color gaurd and floats from various organizations will also be in the parade.

Agricultural Events

The Youth Dairy Show will begin at 9:00 am today. Class categories include Spring, Winter and Fall Heifer Calf; Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter Yearling; as well as 2, 3, 4 and 5 year old classes and others.

88 BC/Afton Sertoma Stage Events

There will be a Prayer Service at the 88 BC/Afton Sertoma Stage at 10:00 AM.

Gillespee Pageants will take place today at 2:00 PM, check in time is from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM.

There will be a "Bikes for Kids Drawing" for children age 5 to 10 at 5:00 PM. Children can enter the contest by filling out a ticket at the Afton Sertoma Club. Child must be present to win.

At 8:00 PM JB & Company will take the stage for a 2 to 3 hour show.

The theme for this years activities at the Activity Center is "Agriculture is Everywhere". Included Activities are "Farmer for a Day". Children can try milking a cow, planting and picking vegetables and collecting eggs. They may also play tug of war, have marble races and much more. Bring your children by for some fun at the Children's Activity Center!

Tonight is the Afton Fair Annual Fireworks Display. The Fireworks will start at 10:00 PM.
